Bringing Read&Write district-wide: Essential steps from a Cincinnati changemaker
In this webinar
Julie Bassett, an Assistive Technology Intervention Specialist at Cincinnati Public Schools, knew Read&Write would open up worlds of support for struggling students throughout the district. Curriculum access, reading support, writing support… the possibilities for student outcomes were boundless.
So she set a goal: get the Read&Write literacy toolkit to every student in her district. If you share this goal for your district, join us as Julie shares lessons learned from making that goal a reality in Cincinnati.
Learn how to be a successful “salesperson” and advocate for change within your district by understanding:
- The key departments to get on board, and how to get a seat at their table
- Why and how to gain classroom educator buy-in, and ideas for PD
- Julie’s concrete action plan, including funding
Attendees will come away with resources to support their advocacy efforts in their districts.
We look forward to seeing you there!
