Texthelp Names Google Veteran, Emma Fish, as Vice President of Commercial Management

WOBURN, MA October 30 , 2023 - Today, Texthelp, a global leader in literacy and assistive technology, announced its appointment of Emma Fish as their new Vice President of Commercial Management. In this newly created role, Emma will help Texthelp to meet its goal of advancing the literacy of 1 billion people by 2030.

Emma comes to Texthelp with over 12 years of experience at Google for Education and Google Cloud, building and leading Education Programs, Go-To-Market, and industry solutions teams across the Public Sector. Emma is also a StartEd mentor, sharing her industry knowledge with upcoming leaders in the sector. 

Between 2011 and 2018, Emma was at the heart of Google for Education. She led the global Education Partner Program, and it was there that she was first introduced to the Texthelp Group, working with Texthelp, Don Johnston, and WizKids.

In her new role as VP of Commercial Management at Texthelp, Emma will be instrumental in the day-to-day management of business planning and pipeline management and lead the Sales Development and Shared Functions teams. On top of this, she will lead the company’s partnership strategy and work to build strategic partnerships globally with suppliers, channel partners, and edtech organizations.
