Valuable 500 Company, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, elevates their inclusion strategy with Texthelp’s Read&Write

ANTRIM, UK - January 31, 2024 - Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), a leading consumer goods company, has joined forces with Texthelp to empower its workforce through inclusive technology. This partnership and their adoption of Read&Write for Work highlights CCEP's commitment to driving positive change, advancing their mission for inclusion and accessibility in the workplace.

The initiative began with a trial within CCEP’s GB Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG), where Texthelp's Read&Write received positive feedback. Employees, including those with various neurodiverse conditions such as Dyslexia, ADHD, visual impairments and people whose first language is not English, experienced the transformative benefits of the technology.

After realising the potential Read&Write has to empower individuals in their work, CCEP made the decision to adopt the software for their wider team - welcoming Texthelp as an ally on their inclusion journey.

A huge advocate of this initiative was Mohammad Koheeallee, Quality Environment Safety & Health Co-Ordinator & Lead Accessibility Ambassador at CCEP in GB, and a member of the company's Global Disability Working Group. Mo, who is a wheelchair user and visually impaired since he was six weeks old, is passionate about enhancing inclusion and accessibility within the company.

As part of the #JustBe Ambassadors group in CCEP he said: "Knowing we have colleagues who are neurodiverse, I wanted to break down a barrier for all CCEP colleagues, by providing them with the right tool to enable them to be themselves at work."

Julie Thomas, Global Director leading on Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE) at CCEP, supported the partnership and rollout of Read&Write. As a leader in the IDE space, Julie is committed to driving positive change within the company. She said: “Accessibility is relevant to everyone, particularly digital accessibility, as so many of our everyday interactions use online systems. By rolling out Read&Write we are removing barriers to inclusion that aren’t always visible, opening up opportunities, and making the online experience easier for everyone. This is a fundamental part of our Inclusion strategy, to create a place where everyone feels welcome.”

CCEP, a Valuable 500 company, Business Disability Forum (BDF) member, and Disability Confident Leader, aligns with Texthelp's commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces. Today, they are leading by example, embracing the power of inclusive technology to empower their people.

Martin McKay, CEO & Founder of Texthelp, comments on the powerful partnership: “As a fellow Business Disability Forum member and Disability Confident Employer, we are proud to support CCEP on their inclusion journey. Our Read&Write for Work software is trusted by companies worldwide, and will play an important role in empowering CCEP employees to bring their whole selves to work every day.”

CCEP and Texthelp received incredibly positive feedback from employees who participated in the trial of Read&Write for Work:

“I found this package really helpful. The screen colour which you can change, made reading emails so much easier. Normally spell checkers don’t know what I am trying to write but this one seems to get it correct.”

“The screenshot reader and prediction helps to organise my thoughts without worrying about spelling the words.”

Texthelp is proud to be part of CCEP’s Inclusion, Diversity & Equity strategy, as not just a provider of inclusive technology, but as an inclusion partner. We are dedicated to ensuring employees succeed with Read&Write providing multiple resources through our Texthelp Academy and offering ongoing support throughout their journey with us.

Mo shares his experience working at CCEP, its inclusion journey and how it supports a diverse workforce:
