Joni Degner
Joni Degner is a trusted voice and recognized leader in the implementation of UDL for schools, districts and institutions of opportunity. As a full time Texthelper, Joni partners with schools all over the central United States. She is a dedicated partner to CAST and the UDL-IRN, presenting and keynoting at major summits & symposiums. Joni is passionate about literacy, Universal Design for Learning, culturally responsive teaching, developmental relationships, equity and design thinking. Joni is known for her high energy presentation style and practical teaching strategies.
Lindy Whitson
Ms. Whitson has served in the field of education since 2000. During this time frame, Ms. Whitson has instructed in various grade levels ranging between kindergarten to twelfth grade. She has also served in the capacity of a reading specialist, general education instructor, an intervention specialist and building administrator. She is currently employed by Westerville City Schools as a Special Education Coordinator and facilitates Assistive Technology for all students K-12. Ms. Whitson holds a degree in Education, Reading and Educational Leadership. She also holds a certification in Assistive Technology.
