Lourdes Sharpe, Director of Customer Services, Citizen Housing

Citizen is one of the UK’s most trusted social housing providers which owns and manages 30,000 homes for diverse communities across the West Midlands, England, UK.  

Lourdes wants to ensure inclusive access to information and services which includes when customers choose to contact Citizen using a digital contact channel. Using ReachDeck on their website, customer portal and internal intranet contributes to achieving this objective. Lourdes will talk about how Citizen are using ReachDeck as a tool for customers and colleagues to improve accessibility and the customer experience.

Christine MacArthur, Manager of Technical Services, County of Brant Public Library

Christine has been specializing in the intersection of reading and technology one way or another since 2000. She started her career at one of the earliest ebook publishers, LTDBooks. They marketed much of their material to older readers who discovered that electronic print meant endlessly large print.

After shifting into public libraries, Christine, continued to explore technology and how it benefits the community. In her current role, she oversees her library’s technology assets and services. This includes everything from cataloguing, interlibrary loan, website and online catalogue, electronic resources and collections, and of course, marketing which is now heavily online.
